Jarvis Singleton

Lead Pastor

A native of Rochester, NY, Jarvis moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL at a young age and, after graduating college in 1999, he came to faith in Christ on November 15th of that year. Almost immediately, Jarvis felt the call to ministry and started to be groomed for it. Over the past 20+ years, he has served various roles in the Church from overseeing a Custodial staff to being the Assistant Pastor of his last two Churches. In addition, he has a passion for shepherding the people God has put in his path. He has often given late-night counsel, visited sick members in hospitals, and has even served many homebound believers communion in their homes. Also, Jarvis has developed many administrative skills, as well. For example, he has created, overseen, and sustained many ministries in the Churches he has worked in by recognizing and placing people in the best areas that made their talents flourish. He has even worked on finance teams and has dealt with Disciplinary issues.

Jarvis also has a real passion for educating people in the Word of God—in particular—in the categories of the Historic Reformed Faith. In addition to his role of preaching/teaching, Jarvis will oversee that the doctrinal standards of Redeeming Grace is secured and exhorted in every facet of the Church. Jarvis is married to his wife, Debra-Anne, and together they have two children: Jaden and Jenna.

MAYETTA LEE:

Missions Coordinator

As a third generation American-born Chinese, Mayetta Lee moved with her family from Hawaii to South Florida as a First Grader.  For most of her life, Palm Beach County has been her home.

As a young teenager, she entrusted her life to Christ, and she grew in her new-found faith through the ministry and teaching of Lake Osborne Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Lake Worth, FL. Through the annual mission conferences and occasional visits of missionaries which occurred there, she heard testimonies of how God was spreading the Gospel message to people in other cultures through their service.  After graduating from college, at one of these conferences, God called her to serve Him in medical missions with World Radio Missionary Fellowship.  She worked five years in the hospital ministries in both Shell and Quito, Ecuador as a clinical lab technologist and chaplain assistant. Opportunities also opened up for her to assist working with youth and children in a rural church and later in supporting the work of a growing church plant in Quito.  Her missions experience also included teaching English at a four-year liberal arts college, Christ College in Tanshui, Taiwan for two and a half years.

At Redeeming Grace, Mayetta will oversee the financial and other needs of the missionaries that will be supported by the Church, will provide updates on missionary works throughout the world with a monthly “Missionary Moment” segment during our Worship services, as well as oversee the missionary activities that will take place for all the age groups in the Church.
